Kino MacGregor Discusses Ahstanga Yoga, Vipassana Meditation, Founding the Omstars Platform, and Finding Peace Within

On this episode we welcome Kino MacGregor. Kino is a Miami native and is the founder of Omstars—the world’s first yoga TV network. She is a sought after yoga expert, an international yoga teacher, inspirational speaker, author of four books, producer of six Ashtanga Yoga DVDs, Writer, Vlogger, World Traveler, and co-founder of Miami Life Center.

Today we dive into a range of topics including Kino’s personal journey and how it brought her to the practice of yoga. She also shares about her experiences with vipassana silent retreats, and how she uses her practice to further her connection to herself. We also dive into a conversation on representation within the American yoga community and also discuss ageism in wellness.
