Today on the podcast we sit down with Trey and Ashleigh the founders of the Kombucha company Better Booch! Better Booch was born to create a local alternative for kombucha connoisseurs who preferred the small batch approach. Better Booch has quickly grown into one of the most prominent kombucha breweries in Southern California.
Trey and Ashleigh's personal journey to kombucha began when both were enjoying successful careers as international touring musicians, but looking to make a change. Ashleigh spent the better part of 5 years backing up singers like Rihanna and Selena Gomez and Trey wrote and performed with artists such as Josh Kelley and Lady Antebellum.
Trey originally became interested in Kombucha due to its alkalizing benefits, from a recommendation by his sister, who religiously consumed the beverage through her extensive and victorious bout with cancer. Together, Ashleigh and Trey believed they could create the best tea based Kombucha on the market. This love for Kombucha, tea, and creativity also grew into a love for each other. They are now married and new parents. On today's episode we have a deep dialogue on all the health benefits of Kombucha, discuss the sugar content, and all the ways it can benefit your overall health. We also talk career transitions and partnership in and out of the work place.

This week on the podcast we sit down with, Billy Bosch, the CEO of ICONIC Protein! When Billy was only 27 he sought out a radical lifestyle transformation after he found himself riddled with ailments, brain fog, high cholesterol, and acid reflux.
He decided to work with a local sports and lifestyle nutritionist who helped him clean up his diet and remedy his symptoms through proper nutrition. With his new healthier lifestyle he wanted to incorporate convenient protein drinks back into his routine but realized they were full of added sugars, fillers, chemicals and artificial ingredients. He saw a hole in the market and decided to solve the problem himself and from there ICONIC was born.
On this episode we hear about ICONIC’s development from the brands early days in an incubator program in New Orleans to its current distribution in 5,000 stores nationwide. ICONIC prides itself on creating a delicious convenient product with zero Gluten, Lactose, Soy, Carageenan, GMO's or BPAs, completely free from toxins and antibiotics. We had a lot of fun recording with Billy and even do a live taste of ICONIC’s brand new delicious flavor during the episode!
